The Peregrine Falcons (IIPM Publication)

In the twenty first century, a new aspect to this awe inspiring bird was added as the face of hope for the endangered animals. While the tigers and whales face the threat of extinction, the Peregrine falcons have boomeranged from the same situation after intensive research and breeding them in captivity. Not just any bird or sport this, for an extraordinary bond has been etched be twixt them and our brothers of the desert. Transcending their roles as mere birds of prey, the falcons and their falconer are icons of the desert life, of a sport, woven intricately into the lives of the sun soaked Saudi Arabians.
